Show us how you spent your Trust Lands funding and win $2,500 for your school!

Who can Enter

Any public K-12 school in Utah that received funding from Trust Lands in the 2024-25 school year. 

How to enter:

  1. Follow @utahtrustlands on Instagram and Facebook from your school’s social media page or your school district’s social media page.
  2. Share our pinned Instagram post to your story
  3. Please review and follow the requirements below for your video to be accepted.

Requirements and rules to enter: 

  1. Any public K-12 school in Utah that received funding from Trust Lands in the 2024-25 school year. 
  2. All entries must be submitted by a principal, educator, current school community council member, or charter board member to qualify. 
  3. All necessary approvals, releases or reviews of individuals appearing in the video and/or content must be consistent with the policies and procedures of the LEA. 
  4. Once submitted, all videos become property of the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration and may be shared on Trust Lands social media platforms, and other Utah Trust System training and outreach. 

Contest Dates:

  1. Video submissions are due no later than March 28th, 2025, at 8:00 PM MST. 
  2. The winner will be announced on Trust Lands’ social media on April 18th, 2025. 
  3. The Trust Lands team will choose the winner based on creativity and the impact Trust Lands funding has on your school. 

Video requirements to enter: 

  1. Videos must be shot vertically (1080×1920, 9:16). Horizontal videos will not be accepted. 
  2. Videos can only use royalty-free music. 
  3. Videos must be in MP4 or MOV format and minimum resolution standards (720p)
  4. Videos must be under 30 seconds.
  5. Videos must be submitted using the file naming protocol: File name: firstname_lastname_school.mp4.
  6. The video must be accompanied by a 250 words or less description of the academic goal and action plan step(s) related in the video.
