Who can Enter
Any public K-12 school in Utah that received School LAND Trust funds in the 2025-2026 school year.
How to enter:
To be eligible, you must be a public K-12 school in Utah that received School LAND Trust funds during the 2025-2026 school year.
Follow us on @utahtrustlands on Instagram and Facebook from your school’s or district’s social media page.
Repost our pinned Instagram post to your school’s or district’s social media page.
Submit Your Video: A principal, educator, current school community council member, or charter trust land council member must submit the video.
Contest Rules and Requirements:Â
Any public K-12 school in Utah that received funding from School LAND Trust funds in the 2025-2026 school year.Â
All entries must be submitted by a principal, educator, current school community council member, or charter trust land council member to qualify.Â
All necessary approvals, releases or reviews of individuals appearing in the video and/or content must be consistent with the policies and procedures of the LEA.Â
Once submitted, all videos become property of the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration and may be shared on Trust Lands social media platforms, and other Utah Trust System training and outreach. Ensure documented parental permission for all students featured in videos adheres strictly to the LEA’s established policy.
Contest Dates:
Video submissions are due no later than November 14, 2025 at 8:00 PM MST.
The winner will be announced on Trust Lands social media on December 4th, 2025.
The Trust Lands team will choose the winner based on creativity and the impact Trust Lands funding has on your school.
Video Requirements:
Videos must be shot vertically (1080×1920, 9:16). Horizontal videos will not be accepted.Â
Videos can only use royalty-free music.Â
Videos must be in MP4 or MOV format and meet minimum resolutions standards (720p).
Videos must be under 30 seconds.
Videos must be submitted using the file naming protocol: firstname_lastname_school.mp4.
The video must be accompanied by a 250 words or less description of the academic goal and action plan step(s) related in the video.

Yes! To be eligible to win, your school’s social media page, district page, or educator’s page MUST REPOST our pinned Instagram contest post. @utahtrustlands.

Yes! For your video to be considered, make sure your school’s, district’s, or educator’s page is following us on Instagram and Facebook.
