Fund Growth Since 2003

Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind represent two of the 12 beneficiaries of Utah’s trust lands. Trust Lands generates revenue from a combined 85,741 acres of land held in trust for the schools and deposits the revenue into Permanent Funds. Interest and dividends from these permanent funds, along with all non-land sale revenues, are distributed to the schools annually.

Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind use these funds to assist it in its mission of educating students who are Deaf, Blind, or Deaf-Blind and providing resources and enrichment activities for them and for their families so they can achieve their full academic, social, and career potential.
