The Utah Division of Juvenile Justice and Youth Services (JJYS) is one of 12 beneficiaries of Utah’s trust lands. Trust Lands generates revenue from acres of land held in trust for JJYS and deposits the revenue into a Permanent Fund for JJYS. Annual distributions come from earnings generated by the investment of the Permanent fund.

JJYS uses these funds to assist it in its mission of providing a continuum of intervention, supervision, and rehabilitation programs to youth offenders while assuring public safety.
