The Utah State Hospital is one of 12 beneficiaries of Utah’s trust lands. Trust Lands generates revenue from the acres of land held in trust for the Hospital and deposits the revenue into its Permanent Fund. Annual distributions come from earnings generated by the investment of the Permanent Fund and, are distributed to the Hospital.

The Utah State Hospital uses these funds to assist it in its mission to provide excellent care in a safe and respectful environment to promote hope and quality of life for individuals with mental illness.
