Congratulations to SITLA Resource Specialist Bryan Torgerson who received the 2019 Governor’s Award for Excellence earlier this month.

The 14-year manager of SITLA’s Southeastern Area Office in Moab, Bryan was cited for his outstanding public service to the State of Utah and commitment to trust land beneficiaries.

Bryan was recognized for his leadership and diplomacy skills, which he has used to establish critical relationships with local governments, community organizations, and local working groups.

Most recently, Torgerson has served as a critical interface with the local community on various development projects.
