SITLA’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Team created a new dashboard tool, which maps all current renewable energy leases on Utah trust lands. The dashboard shows each renewable energy lease location, acreage, and other data. SITLA has a growing renewable energy portfolio comprising geothermal, wind, solar, and energy storage. Renewable energy leases have generated $5.8 million in revenue for trust land beneficiaries, primarily public education.
