Resource Development Coordinating Committee

All transactions and projects on trust lands are reviewed through the Resource Development Coordinating Committee (RDCC), unless exempted by agreement with the State Planning Coordinator. SITLA is required to evaluate and respond to all comments and recommendations received through the RDCC process.
The RDCC is overseen and staffed by the Public Lands Policy Coordination Office, which is a part of the Governor’s Office. The RDCC includes members from state agencies involved or impacted by public lands management. The RDCC coordinates the review of actions that may affect the physical resources of the state and facilitates the exchange of information on those actions among federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as the general public.
