Audit Group

The agency manages millions of surface and sub-surface acres, much of which is associated with many types of agreements, which include but are not limited to: oil and gas, various mineral commodities, sand and gravel, industrial, commercial, residential and joint ventures. The Audit Group supports the activities of the agency through lease revenue compliance and internal audits.

The Audit Group also administers the Land Exchange Distribution Account (LEDA), a complex disbursement of development royalties associated with exchange lands. The Audit Group follows an audit schedule approved by the director, and meets at various times throughout the year with the Board of Trustees Audit Committee.
