Beneficiary | Utah State Hospital

The Utah State Hospital is one of 12 beneficiaries of Utah’s trust lands. SITLA generates revenue from the 34,345 acres of land held in trust for the Hospital, and deposits the revenue into its Permanent Fund. Interest and dividends from this permanent trust, along with all non-land sale revenues, are distributed to the Hospital annually.
The Utah State Hospital uses these funds to assist it in its mission to provide excellent care in a safe and respectful environment to promote hope and quality of life for individuals with mental illness.
