Reviewing Hard Copies of Records

SITLA’s public records can be reviewed at our Salt Lake City office.  There is a computer in the public room dedicated to accessing our public records.

If you request to review hard copies of files, staff will prepare those files and you will be notified when they are available.  You will need to set an appointment so that the records specific to your request can be made ready.  Please note that many records are now being kept and used in a digital format.  If you request that staff print those digital copies, printing fees of 40¢ per page will be charged.  Map printing is more expensive.

If the records you request require staff time for search, retrieval, and other direct administrative costs, you will be charged for the staff time.  Please review Fees for more information.
