The Surface Management group makes surface lands available for many uses including:
  • Leases for telecommunication towers, commercial and industrial enterprises, cabin sites, governmental, and agriculture.
  • Timber contracts.
  • Permits for grazing.
  • Easements for roads, pipelines, power lines and other types of transmission lines.
  • Short-term permits (Rights-of-Entry) for activities such as filming (movies, commercials, etc.) and other organized events like cross-country races.
